Michelle Stallmeyer is the Director of Family Services for Habitat for Humanity of Champaign County located in Champaign’s Midtown district. She is a member in both local and state organizations concerned with affordable housing including Housing Action Illinois and Champaign County’s Council of Service Providers to the Homeless. Michelle is certified through NeighborWorks America as both a Homeownership Counselor and a Financial Capability Coach. She utilizes these certifications in contributing to her affiliate by presenting homeownership and financial capability classes which are offered to both Habitat homebuyers and the public at large. Michelle also strives to make a difference in her community by participating in Money Smart Week as a committee member, and she works closely with the Community Reinvestment officers of local lenders to apply for grants and provide programs for limited income families. Michelle is currently working towards a degree in Organizational Leadership.
