IMPROVE YOUR BUSINESS...WITH IMPROV!
Monday February 4, 2019 - 4:00-5:00 p.m.
The Virginia Theatre - 203 W. Park Avenue
Whether you are a salesperson, educator, account rep, or executive.... in fact, anytime you are speaking in front of people, you are performing! Professionally-trained thespian and business development consultant Jenette Jurczyk will share the techniques she uses to prepare for the stage that you can apply to any presentation or performance setting. Jenette will facilitate an interactive improv-based workshop just for the members of CCP in the beautiful mezzanine lobby of The Virginia Theatre in Downtown Champaign. After the laughter fades, you will see the results in stronger communication, customer engagement, focus, and creative thinking! Dress comfortably and get ready to learn new ways to use your voice and body to present your best self, whether speaking to an audience of one or one thousand.
After living and working in New York and Los Angeles as a performer, director, writer and producer, Jenette returned to Champaign in 2009, where she added an MBA to her resume. She is currently the Director of Operations at One Main Development in downtown Champaign and recently served as President of the Junior League of Champaign-Urbana. She is also excited to be directing the upcoming installment of That’s What She Said at The Virginia Theatre.
Through her consulting company, Key Light Consulting, Jenette works one-on-one with clients who want to improve their professional presentations, interviews, and media performances. She offers fun, engaging team building workshops for executive teams and boards. She has been an invited speaker and trainer for local organizations such as United Way of Champaign County, the Women's Career Institute at the University of Illinois and Northwestern Mutual.
